Synopsis

‘Kis Hudh Tak…’ is a film about ‘Date Rape’. It is also about justice and how far a human being will go to get it. It is about love, caring and commitment. It is about anger at the state of our society. It is about the state of our judicial system. And most of all it is about the fact that if you want something bad enough – you don’t need money or power to get it – what you really need is intelligence, determination, patience and focus. But above all – you need the strength of conviction to sacrifice, if necessary, that very thing that you hold dearest to your heart. For in the extent of your sacrifice lies the extent of your conviction.

Date rape is a gruesome act. More so because it is perpetrated by the very person that one trusts. More than the physical pain the shock and trauma lies in the breaking of that trust. That is the ultimate rape.

In most cases the victim absorbs the shock and pain in silence afraid of the reaction of society in general and the family in particular who end up blaming the victim for getting herself into this situation. Some girls take their own life because they just can not come to terms with the situation and sometimes, though rarely, comes along a person who stands up to the situation, faces it head on, confronts the man and society and the legal system with the single minded focus of punishing the man for this heinous crime. Synopsis

Synopsis

Film "Ek Second-Jo Zindagi Badal De" story is of a girl named "Rashi" That girl whose name is "Rashi" but what is written in her destiny she herself is not aware of there is one proverb- which tells that whatever is written in one’s destiny in some way or other the incidents actually happen. But if we fight against it and make the incident happen in a different way – then what will happen?

The biggest prey of the trap of destiny is happened to be – Mr. Vikram Sehgal . Vikram Sehgal is India’s famous novelist who had an affair with many girls in life. But now he is engaged with Rashi and they are soon getting married. Rashi was unaware of all those girls who were present in vikram’s life.

Then destiny played a game. Incidents change. Rashi worked in a very big company as a creative head. Rashi moved out of her house to go to office that very same day she lost her job. She reached the metro station tired and exhausted where she missed the train. And now for few hours she will not be able to get another train b’coz of some problem. May be these kinds of incidents were bound to happen in Rashi’s life. Now from here onwards our story gets divided into two parts. One part narrates that story of Rashi –where she was unable to catch the train. And second part narrates the story of that Rashi who catches the train. The incidents that happened in both stages of lives were shocking and surprising. Rashi who could not catch the train comes out of the metro station, one robber snatches her purse outside the metro station and where she gets hurt. A taxi driver takes her to the nursing home where she is treated, bandage is put and dressing is done. This all was actually written in her fate.

But on the other hand Rashi boards the train fighting with her fate. In the train she meets a person named Oni Parker – who is fun loving, joyful and kind hearted person. After the train journey she reaches Vikram’s house. On that day she catches Vikram with his girlfriend Tamanna. Both quarrel and fight with each other and Rashi breaks off the relationship for ever and walks away.

On the second part, confused by the trap of her fate, "Rashi" goes to Vikram’s house from the hospital – she does not know what is happening. Both the stories of the Rashi’s life go on differently and separately .In one part, Rashi has Vikram and in other part Rashi finds a boyfriend Oni Parker.

More exciting part of two different stories was the single end of both the stories which was more stunning . Sometimes in life a decision made in one second can turn the way of living of our life.

Synopsis:

The film, Pankh zeros in on the psychological burden attached to stardom, especially when it starts young. Pankh is the story of a pushy mother (Lilette Dubey), who thrusts her child (Maradona) into the film industry at an early age and forces him to act the part of a little girl in films. Baby Kusum is a child star, a cute little girl. In reality, Baby Kusum is boy, masquerading as a girl. He was christened Jerry, and then named Master Jai for the movies. He and his mother Mary (Lilette) share a turbulent relationship. Once the boy reaches adolescence, he’s a drug-abuser who has never been to school and spends all his time at home. As a youth, Jerry meets his dream woman, Nandini (Bipasha), causing another inner turmoil. Bipasha is the fantasy woman who Maradona conjures up in his head-a phantom who taunts him and fights with him, an alter ego who questions his every move. Jerry is made to face the camera again as a young man, which leads to the final catastrophe. The film highlights the common practice in the Indian film industry of casting children in role contrary to their natural genders, there screen.

Synopsis

Krish and Meera, form a young Indian couple climbing the ladder of the corporate rate race in a nation hurtling forward at a rate unprecedented in its long history. Stressed, frustrated and unable to come to terms with the sacrifice required for success, they go in search of a legendary magical insect – The Great Indian Butterfly.

Last seen by the unknown Portuguese explorer Carodiguez, in a remote valley located in erstwhile colonial Goa, the butterfly possesses a magical aura, granting immense happiness to the person who catches it. In the journey that takes the couple from the smog filled, concrete jungle of the Megalopolis of Mumbai through the little discovered coastal landscapes of the western Sahyadris, to the sun soaked land of Goa, the couple lose more than what they want to rediscover. It becomes a passage, which seems to travel with a metaphor of its own and an insect as elusive as a fossil trapped in prehistoric resin.

Will they find the Butterfly? Can they survive the journey? Can it cost them their lives? Will ‘The Great Indian Butterfly’ wreck havoc on their souls? Will there be redemption? Or is it a futile hunt for an answer to their crumbling lives? Is happiness a rare insect?
